I just ran across a film called KIDNAPPED. The film was written and directed by Spanish filmmaker Miguel Ángel Vivas. The plot is pretty simple:Three hooded Eastern-European criminals burst into a home in a Madrid gated community, holding the family hostage in its own home, and forcing the father to empty his credit cards. But the family fights back - brutally.
Home invasion films are very scary to me, as they are the most realistic of all the sub-genres of horror films. The chances of you getting slashed to death by a masked killer are pretty slim, but having your house broken into and being held against your will...well, that happens everyday somewhere in the world. This looks very creepy. Check out the trailer and let me know what you think!
